Chapter Europe is the data controller for enquiries submitted through chaptereurope.com. Chapter Europe determines the purposes and means of processing enquiry data and processes that information to review the context, respond, triage the appropriate next step and, where configured, send an automatic acknowledgement of receipt.

Chapter Europe is currently operating as a professional project while its legal structure is being established. This policy may be updated when the business is formally incorporated.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• the exact Compare Countries or Scope Builder result you ask us to email;
• marketing-consent state, form source, timestamp, consent-copy version and locale;

Transactional delivery and marketing subscription are separate actions. Submitting an enquiry or requesting an emailed result is not treated as marketing consent. Marketing consent is optional and is never selected by default. The current public consent copy is version 2026-09-11.v1.

To provide our services and operate the website, we may share relevant information with trusted professionals and service providers, including:

Technology, hosting, email-delivery and form providers may process limited enquiry data on Chapter Europe's instructions in order to deliver the website and communications. They do not become the controller of the enquiry simply by providing that technical service.

The website is configured to connect server-side to Brevo for transactional email delivery and, only after separate consent, marketing-list subscription. Brevo credentials are not exposed to the browser.

We aim to share only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Where appropriate, we seek to ensure that third-party providers are subject to suitable confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Some technology providers or professional partners may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we will use an applicable transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguards in accordance with data-protection law.

Consent evidence records the consent state, source, timestamp, copy version and locale. The final operational retention periods for enquiry, delivery and marketing records remain subject to documented privacy approval before official launch.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural-tracking cookies. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics in production to understand aggregate website usage. Vercel states that this service does not use cookies and stores anonymised analytics data.

Hosting infrastructure may also process limited technical request information for website delivery, reliability and security.

If we introduce non-essential cookies, advertising technologies or other forms of tracking in the future, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• access your personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion;
• request restriction of processing;
• object to certain processing;
• request data portability; and
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
